The Journey of Your Flowers' Preservation Process: From Bouquets and Displays to Resin.

Updated: Sep 21

Flowers, with their vibrant colours and delicate beauty, have a special place in our hearts. They capture fleeting moments, symbolise love, and evoke cherished memories. What better way to preserve them than by turning them into stunning resin pieces? At Happiness Blooms Creations, we take pride in preserving your precious blooms and turning them into exquisite works of art. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to send your flowers to us and the intricate process they undergo before returning to you in resin.

The Journey from Petals to Resin - our preservation process

Haven't placed an order yet but want to know how it works? Here's our process:

  1. Reserve Your Date and Place Your Order: Due to the meticulous care required during the preservation and pouring process, we have limited spaces available each month. You can secure your spot by placing your order through our online store or messaging us.

  2. Send Us Your Flowers: After ordering, we'll contact you with instructions on how to properly package and send your flowers. For the best results, opt for next-day delivery to maintain the freshness of your blooms. Don't forget to refer to our packing process above!

  3. Preparing for Drying: Upon receiving your flowers, our skilled team carefully prepares each flower for the drying process. Drying times vary for different flowers and typically take around 4 weeks.

  4. Custom Floral Piece Creation: Once your flowers are fully dried, our artisans begin the meticulous process of crafting your unique resin piece. We'll keep you informed throughout the journey. Crafting your custom piece can take up to 20 weeks, from the drying of the flowers to the final masterpiece.

  5. Ready for Delivery: When your resin art piece is complete, we sand and polish it before packaging it securely. Your artwork will be sent to you via courier on next-day delivery. We'll provide you with a tracking number and reach out to ensure it arrives safely.

Your flowers have now become a timeless work of art, capturing the essence of the moments they represent. At Happiness Blooms Creations, we're honoured to be part of this creative journey, preserving your cherished blooms for you to treasure forever.

Packaging Your Blooms with Care

If you've placed an order with us or are about to, we've written a step-by-step guide on how to package your flowers. We recommend everyone who places an order with us reads this before sending their flowers to ensure they stay in the best possible condition for drying:

  1. Hydrate Your Blooms: Put your flowers in water for 1-2 hours, ensuring they're well-hydrated before packing.

  2. Select Your Flowers: Choose the flowers you wish to preserve in your artwork and trim the stems at an angle. Don't forget to add a few extra blooms to cover any potential damages.

  3. Preserve Moisture: Wrap the stems with a damp tissue to maintain moisture during transit. Cover the tissue with tin foil to prevent moisture from reaching the buds. It's crucial not to over-saturate the tissue, as excess moisture can cause the flowers to rot. This can be done in a bunch rather than separate.

  4. Secure the Blooms: Use a decent-sized box and place scrunched newspaper around the stems to keep the flowers upright and secure. Inside the box, include a note with your name, order number, contact details, and the date.

  5. Label and Ship: Clearly address the box, mark it as fragile, add "fresh flowers" to it, and indicate that it should be kept upright. Whenever possible, choose next-day delivery to ensure the freshness of your blooms.

  6. Await Confirmation: Once you've sent your package, patiently wait for our email or message confirming the safe arrival of your flowers.
